This position supports the Wireless Network team working in conjunction with Dell as part of their remote Incident Response Team.

JOb Description

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Assisting with defining wireless standards.
  • Design, plan, deploy, and improve wireless networks.
  • Gather customer requirements for wireless networks and architect solutions that address those requirements.
  • Utilize tools to evaluate, test and monitor wireless infrastructure.
  • Create documentation.
  • Operational support of the wireless network.
  • Follow the defined change management process.
  • Help build and maintain a word-class wireless network capable of carrying reliable voice, video and     data.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Thorough understanding of WLAN security and network management.
  • Experience designing and deploying key WLAN applications including Secure Mobility, Voice over WLAN,  Location, 802.1x authentication.
  • Experience deploying Wireless Guest  Access with a captive portal and consideration of security controls and  network separation recommendations included in the solution.
  • Expert level Inter-networking troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment.
  • Strong technical account management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 3+  years of experience providing wireless networking engineering and support in an enterprise environment
